During the past several weeks I have spent time interviewing some great people from the entertainment world. They each have their own unique story, influence and experience. I have spoke with John Ford Coley who was one half of the singing duo with England Dan during the 70s. Many will remember their hits such as, “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight” and “Love is the Answer”. John is still touring, writing music and enjoying his travels.

My next interview was with Mark “Slick” Aguilar. Slick is the lead guitarist for Jefferson Starship but that has been sidelined right now as he has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and needs a liver transplant. The doctors have given him a 50/50 chance for survival over the next two years without a transplant. Slick is remaining optimistic and we hold all good thoughts that he will be given the chance he needs. Funds are being raised to help Slick with his current situation. Donations are being accepted through the Slick Aguilar Recovery Fund (www.paypal.com)  and also regular “snail mail” at: Slick Aguilar, 1775 Deer Run Drive, Montgomery, IL 60538.

Everyone should have a dose of Angie Bowie to kick-start their day. Talking with her was like a friend I had not seen in several years. There is more to this classy lady than having been married to David Bowie once upon a time. We discussed her latest book, “Lipstick Legends” and we discussed a great many topics. Stay tuned for the article to learn much more from our interview!
