It is so difficult to believe that Denny Doherty has been gone since 2007. There was so much more to Denny in addition to the powerful voice that sang with The Mamas & The Papas. Through knowing him, my life has been enriched in so many ways. He encouraged me to step out of the box and create something out of the ordinary. I must admit that it isn’t always easy as sometimes I still like the “confines” of predictability but each day is a new day. Denny’s life was musically inspirational and completely in the moment of “now” with what he wanted to do. I guess you could say it was contagious. I feel blessed and very grateful to have known him. It was a life time in a short time.
