His autobiography, My Appetite For Destruction is Steven’s journey through his life before, during and after his time with Guns N’ Roses.  It is an eye opening tale of struggle, sadness, growth and rebirth.  Steven is very honest and open when he says, “Throughout my wretched life, there isn’t a friend, family member or fantastic opportunity that I haven’t shoved in a blender and mutilated.”

I’m going to Geneva (Ohio, that is) next weekend to see Steven’s gig and meet up with him.  His appetite for destruction has been replaced with an appetite to heal through his music, family and friends.
