She has a wonderful spirit about her and I was also able to interview her via telephone. Gloria was the first, original singer for Tainted Love in 1964. She was the soul mate love of Marc Bolan of T-Rex. She is working on getting the Marc Bolan School of Music & Film project going and continue to move it forward. It was a pleasure to speak with her.

I have also interviewed the original members of Cleveland band, Love Affair who will be doing their reunion gig at Tangiers in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, April 28th.

This afternoon, I interviewed Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash who will be doing a show at The Winchester on May 1st. Great interviews!

Last but certainly not least, I am pondering the possibilities of taking a creative writing class by the one, the only Pamela Des Barres this summer. I’m sure it would be an experience I would not forget. We’ll see.

Many will recognize Michael as the drummer for Santana. Michael shared that when Santana played Woodstock ’69, the band did not have an album released yet.
