I recently interviewed Angie McCartney (Paul’s “stepmum”) about her autobiography, “My Long and Winding Road”. It was a pleasure to speak with her. Angie shares stories in her book about first meeting Jim McCartney and knowing in her heart that she would marry him one day. The book takes the reader on a journey of what life brings as it unfolds with many stops along the way.

I spoke with film director, Ryan White about his documentary, “Good Ol’ Freda” which will be shown at the Cleveland International Film Festival, 2013. Freda Kelly was the secretary for The Beatles from their early days until the band broke up in 1970. She assisted Beatle manager, Brian Epstein with many tasks that often were outside the norm for secretarial duties which included trying to answer the many “odd requests” that fans had in order to be closer to their beloved Fab Four. Freda has kept her silence for nearly 50 years and Ryan shares why she chose now to have that time of her life now documented.
