This evening I had the pleasure of interviewing Tom Johnston, original member and co-founder of The Doobie Brothers. With classic hits such as Listen To The Music, Long Train Running, Black Water, China Grove, Jesus Is Just Alright, What A Fool Believes, Takin’ It To The Streets and many more, The Doobie Brothers have provided hit songs that have impacted emotions, generations and music culture. Tom is the one who penned the classic, Listen To The Music. He tells me what inspired him to write the song, what he believed then and what he believes now.
